The consultation went consultant-surgeon-consultant. Both the consultant and surgeon were very kind at first, and the surgeon explained things in detail. The surgeon was truly very kind and explained at length in an easy-to-understand way, but I felt very bad during the final consultation with the consultant. Because the area was my nose, I felt I had to be cautious, and I had many worries. But the more we consulted, the more they seemed frustrated with me. I said I wanted a natural result that only improved the flaws and did not look like I had surgery, but they said, “Then why have surgery?” It seemed meant as a joke, but I felt bad that they took my needs that way. The biggest issue was being pressured to book that day. Once or twice would be one thing, but they kept pressuring me. Rhinoplasty is not something to casually consult about, book, and pay a deposit for on the same day. When I said I would think it over until the end, their previously kind tone and expression vanished, and they handed me the cost sheet with a “Fine, go ahead...” look and said, “Take this with you.” I liked the consultation content until then, but that attitude greatly reduced my interest. They seem to see patients only as money.
