A year ago I had lower eyelid fat repositioning, and the dark circles didn't seem to improve at all. But the doctor said it had gotten much better, so I just let it go and moved on. About 6 months later, the area under the lower eyelid crease became slightly bulgy enough to bother me, so I went back and had a pre-consultation with the "staff member who does consultations at the counter, not the doctor." I said the under-eye area seemed bulgy, and I had assumed the doctor would look at my eyes and make a diagnosis, but what came back was the "consultation staff" diagnosis of, "Then we'll give you Shurink~" After that, I went into the procedure room and, without even looking at my eye condition, they had me lie down, stuck a needle into my eye right away, and did Shurink. Afterward, the slightly bothersome under-eye area turned into "the aegyo-sal disappeared completely, and the entire under-eye area, below the lower eyelid groove, swelled up." So I waited until 3 weeks later, and when it didn't improve, I went back to the doctor. The doctor kept repeating, "It's not because of Shurink, it's just the way it was originally." Common sense says that if it had been like that from the beginning, I would have come in long ago, not 6 months after surgery. Since I kept pushing back, the doctor said, "Then should I give you a fat-dissolving injection?" I was desperate because my eyes looked so different now, so I said to go ahead and do it. Then the doctor said, "Then you'll go back to how it was before the lower eyelid surgery and end up sunken, so you can't say anything about it~ I've never seen anyone get this and not have the fat come back." But the problem was Shurink in the first place, and it dissolved the result of the lower eyelid fat repositioning, lol. There was basically no solution. Since then I just haven't gone back and I'm looking into revision surgery. The doctor is light and stubborn.
