The director definitely has a specific beauty ideal, so if it doesn't match that, I think you could feel a bit pressured, but if your preferred look matches that ideal, it feels like they can shape it well into the look you want. I was the latter case, and because I went in already knowing that, the consultation didn't take that long and we just quickly went over the desired line, canthoplasty angle, spacing, and so on. So I felt like I only heard the information I needed, and personally the photos on my phone
