Among the hospitals I visited while getting a revision, this was the only one that recommended canthoplasty. They said it is not a straight-cut lateral canthoplasty, but a D-shaped split and fixation to the periosteum, so it may be visible but will not reattach. However, because my eyes are small and sunken, they said I should not expect an extremely dramatic result. If I lower my expectations, surgery is possible. The time to remove the sutures is different: 2 weeks for the lateral canthoplasty and 1 week for the double eyelid surgery. They said the redness can last up to 3 weeks. They understood the eye structure and the difference between the two sides of my ptosis correction best. You can tell they studied it carefully. But they also recommended nose filler, and the coordinator spoke negatively about other hospitals' surgical methods, so I’m not sure.
