As expected, the surgery took only 30 minutes to under an hour, and during recovery there was no pain—just an itchy sensation as new skin grew. Even now, three years later, my boyfriend's nostrils have naturally widened somewhat, but they are still smaller than before, so the dated look has largely disappeared.
