They did look at my current eye condition, but the explanation of why my eyes turned out this way felt like they skipped over it very lightly. Since this was revision surgery, sensitive parts like scars and adhesions were important, but those details only came out little by little when I asked. I was told many times that it was possible, but they only spoke cautiously about the risk factors and limitations, which actually made me more anxious. The design explanation was also mostly verbal, so it wasn't easy to imagine the result.
