It’s already been 2 months since I had nose surgery with Dr. Lee Ji-hwan at Between Plastic Surgery. After my previous surgery, my nose became crooked and the tip turned up, which caused a lot of stress, so this time in the revision surgery they lowered the tip with septal cartilage and ear cartilage, used custom silicone for the bridge, and also did alar reduction and osteotomy. After about 2 months, thanks to the osteotomy the bridge line looks slimmer than before, and as the lowered tip settles, my impression feels calmer overall. The scar from the alar reduction is barely visible, so it doesn’t show even when I put on makeup. That said, since it’s only 2 months in, there is still some swelling at the tip, so it feels a bit high and blunt, but I think that will go down with more time, so I’m just waiting calmly. I was worried a lot because of contracture, but for now I’m glad the upturned nose came down. Once the swelling goes down more later, I’m looking forward to the line becoming even slimmer.
