I had cheekbone reduction surgery, and although there’s no visible sagging or hollowing of the cheeks, the effect was rather minimal compared to how much bone was cut and shaved, so that was disappointing. Still, at the time my cheekbones were a complex for me, so I did it. If I could go back, I would think more carefully before having surgery. Even if you only have cheekbone surgery, it’s still a surgery where bone is cut, so for several days it’s uncomfortable to eat and hard to open your mouth. Recovery is faster than with the jaw or square jaw area
