It felt like they preferred keeping the line low but making it natural. I had gone around consulting because I thought they might suggest a small line, but the doctor suggested a line much lower than I had ever imagined, so I was taken aback. It seemed like they preferred a look where the eyes themselves appear bigger rather than making the line larger into a more obvious double eyelid. However, it didn't feel like they were very willing to hear my opinion.
