Compared with how much I was expecting, the consultation was not very professional... They said a lot of things that sounded impressive, but in practice my questions about how the surgery would actually be done and how the risks would be handled were never answered. When I asked about the risks of general anesthesia, the doctor said they were such a cautious person that if a method seemed like it could cause an accident, they would not be able to use it, so it was safe. That may really be true, but I do not feel that way
