I had middle-age upper and lower blepharoplasty with fat repositioning. I was satisfied with the lower eyelids, but the upper eyelid surgery was ruined. My mom made up her mind and had the surgery, but it became a complete sausage eye, and the eyes were over-rotated upward so much that the area between the eyelashes is visible...;; I don't know what it would be like for younger patients, but for middle-aged surgery, you really need to be careful and go to a veteran specialist.. Even after 1 year and 6 months, the swelling hasn't gone down, so I just ended up with sausage eyes and I'm looking into revision surgery. I was satisfied with the lower eyelids at the time too, but maybe because fat was added, some of the fat seems to have gone away and wrinkles have formed.
