They said it was a simple non-open procedure, but in reality it is a surgery with a very large scope of manipulation. The cartilage granules mostly get absorbed in the end anyway (they say they are sticky, but they are absorbed), so when it comes time for a revision later, you are left with the ear cartilage that could have been used, plus only scar tissue. The result is not smooth like an implant and not soft like filler, but comes out with an ambiguous?? texture, and when you think about the price and what I lose, it does not seem like a reasonable surgery.
