Overall, it felt less like they were taking my desired direction into account and more like they were designing based on the doctor's personal experience, but the result was quite satisfying. If you are having surgery for a flat nose, it seems better to accept from the start that the height may end up a little lower and set it a bit higher initially. Since this is the PRF DC method, which uses ground cartilage, for about 8 weeks after the first surgery there tends to be a fairly noticeable difference in height compared with the initial height because of cartilage engraftment and compression.
