I had my first surgery to lower an infected nose and used no implant, but because of an unexpected nostril asymmetry and the columella being pulled off-center, I am now looking into a third hospital. I thought they would at least get the symmetry right by default.. They did a nostril surgery that was never even mentioned before the operation, and never said a word about how they would fix the symmetry, then they put in cartilage, but the place where the cartilage was inserted looks lower.. It just became triangle-and-square nostrils.. Sigh, I need to look into this more.
