I went to Resum in Apgujeong. At another hospital, an ultrasound confirmed that there was support in the columella, and even the clinic where I had surgery confirmed that the columella support was made with ear cartilage. I also consulted with people who are very famous for nose surgery (not removal, but the whole surgery) and they said by touch that there was columella support. Here, after touching it a few times, they said there was none. Even when I told the doctor several times that a support had been placed in the columella (I did not mention the ultrasound because I thought it might be awkward), they still said there was none, so I was like, well... There are many skilled doctors in Korea, so I do not have much regret that my options got narrower. But after consulting seven famous, older doctors who have built entire buildings with noses, this was the first time I felt this uncomfortable leaving a clinic. Being firm and blunt, saying things without extra words, scolding, and going quiet if you do not ask questions - other people may have that too. But if you ask a question and they answer with only roundabout counterquestions, it felt troll-like, and this was the first time I left after such a short consultation feeling this upset. What I felt after all these consultations is that there are many famous directors who do revision and reconstruction a lot, and even if they are not especially empathetic or friendly in front of patients, they still take questions seriously and consult sincerely. That is not like here. The facility is very good. But when I asked the manager, "So you are a specialist in removal?" they said you are a specialist in removal and revision surgery, but here?
