Because of contracture and a sunken appearance, I had surgery, and the sunken area came back after just 8 days, which makes me so sad.. I went to many places, did a lot of legwork, and carefully chose this place.. It makes me sad that I have to spend another 6 months like this.. When it came time to remove the autologous rib sutures, the director talked about the result in a way that was so upsetting.. I was agonizing over whether to go ahead with a third revision, worried it might fail again, and chose to do the surgery. But seeing no consideration at all for the feelings of a patient whose sunken area returned after 8 days.. it hurts so much.. sigh
