First of all, the director was like my dad, taking care of me like I was his daughter, and at my first consultation he pinpointed exactly the nose problems I already knew about, so I thought, this is the place. I was scared and nervous because it was a revision surgery, but he kept talking to me throughout the operation, and before I knew it I felt comfortable. And here, you can really talk while having surgery and stay awake, so I like that a lot. I wasn’t in much pain after surgery either. At first I thought, how can you be awake during surgery? Scary... but it was nothing. It’s so comfortable. It’s actually better than getting the anesthesia and then waking up groggy. A friend came with me, and they were surprised that I walked out of the operating room looking so perfectly fine. Anyway, the surgical result was not bad. At first it was so pretty, but after almost a year the tip of my nose started to droop.. So I lay back on the operating table to fix it I didn’t want to go this far, and I felt miserable. But the director said that at first he only planned a slight correction, but then suggested we just redo it completely, so that’s how I had my nose done again. In the end, I’m satisfied now. My bulbous nose is not completely slim, but I got exactly the line I wanted, the degree of naturalness I wanted, and the height I wanted. Also, because the skin on my nose is thick, I’m living with the thought that this is the best possible result. ^^
