I went for an eye consultation. I was born with severe ptosis in one eye, and I had surgery on it when I was young. As I grew up, the asymmetry got worse, so I went in thinking about revision surgery. The doctor looked at it and said revision surgery was impossible. Since I trusted them so much, I thought if they said it couldn't be done here, it probably couldn't be done anywhere else either, so I gave up.
