After the revision, everything was fine. I also had the canthoplasty done at the same time, and that wasn’t something I planned from the start, but while reading blog reviews, I noticed that there were surprisingly many people who had revision and canthoplasty together. Among them, a full canthoplasty looked the prettiest. As I kept looking, it wasn’t just about restoring things; I started wanting to make my eyes prettier no matter what. When I asked at the consultation, they said that if I skipped the inner canthoplasty and did revision + upper canthoplasty and lower canthoplasty together, I could keep my eyes from getting smaller while also making the eye shape half-moon, which could give me the look I wanted. My goal wasn’t to make my eyes dramatically bigger, so I thought it would be better to open them only a little, and I had the surgery as the doctor said. Now I’m completely satisfied. It’s been about 4 months, and the scar was only there in the early stage; it has been gone for quite a while now. After going around and meeting the friends I couldn’t face when the lateral canthoplasty went badly, all I kept hearing was how pretty I looked and where I had it done, so I could really feel that the surgery turned out well. My eye shape became rounded and got much closer to the look I wanted, so I’m really glad I did the canthoplasty all at once. Even though it was a revision, the cost wasn’t a big burden, so if I could go back, I’d do the same again.
