It has been 6 months since I had front canthoplasty revision / upper canthoplasty. After the front canthoplasty, the medial canthal fold was so visible that it seemed excessive. I thought it was swelling, but even after time passed the fold stayed the same. For revision, about half of it would need to be covered, but then the eyes could look shorter or smaller. I was told that upper canthoplasty was needed to correct the shape and make the eyes look less small. Since it changes the shape at the inner corner, the overall eye shape would also look different.
