I went for a functional nose consultation, but the explanation was so perfunctory that I wondered whether they were really explaining anything. The information about the functional part was lacking, to the point that I wasn't sure I had even heard an explanation about it. I want to do aesthetics together with the functional surgery, and even though I said the main goal was function, there was still too little explanation about what they would do for the functional part. I also wondered whether the person in the consultation room, who seemed to be a nurse rather than a doctor, really needed to be there with us.
