Other places said I did not need it, but they said osteotomy was necessary. Since I have a short nose, it should not be lowered. To avoid making it shorter, dissolve filler at least one week beforehand, and alar reduction must absolutely not be done. If using costal cartilage, the procedure takes 1 to 1.5 hours; disinfection takes about 1 hour 10 minutes. The columella will use autologous costal cartilage, and the nasal tip will use septal cartilage. Donor costal cartilage has a small amount. Disinfection the day after surgery, nasal packing for 3 days, splint for 7 days, removal at 14 days, follow-up after one month.
