First of all, I got there about 20 minutes early for my consultation.. It said opening time was 10:30, but the clinic door was not open, so I had to crouch on the stairs... I kept thinking about just going home. I had my consultation with the doctor first, and hmm It felt like the explanation was lacking...? Cosmetic surgery is an aesthetic procedure, so patients have clear things they want. Rather than surgery for a physical defect, people spend money on surgery to raise their aesthetic standards and satisfy their own needs. I explained what I wanted, but the answer was vague: it might be possible or it might not. Of course, even if the doctor was not fully certain, I expected a diagnosis based on data from seeing many different patients over a long career, something like, "Given this experience, this much should be possible," and then an explanation of how much risk I would need to accept. But instead they said nothing definite about whether it was possible or not. It felt odd that a doctor would say it is definitely possible. It was more like, "You have to open it up and do the surgery to know," and I was like, huh... I had a 5-minute talk with the doctor and about 20 minutes with the manager. I had heard that the manager was the real power behind the clinic, and I felt the same way. Of course, the manager seemed experienced and looked at everything carefully, but from my perspective, where the surgeon's opinion mattered more, it was not that helpful. The manager explained the surgery method and the limits of revision surgery for my eyes in more detail, and I kept wondering if that was really right. Anyway... there seems to be a lot of buzz that this is a clinic good at revision surgery, but the part I wanted could not be met, and I lost trust, so I did not choose it
