Please note that this was my first in-person consultation, so I had no other clinics to compare it with. - Brought a retouched selfie of my nose and explained the shape I wanted: I wanted to reduce the wide bridge? nasal bridge? and make the tip, which looked blunt, slimmer. - Desired procedure: non-open approach, no implant, or ideally no cartilage added at all; conservative methods such as osteotomy and tip cartilage suturing. - Brought notes on concerns and questions I wanted to ask. I had made an appointment, but the surgeon's operation was delayed, so after consulting with the coordinator, I waited about an hour. When I explained the procedure and style I wanted, they said it was possible and that there would be an improvement from the front. They said the bluntness of the tip would be only somewhat improved without an implant, but that they would try to achieve a certain amount by rearranging the tissue. They spoke as if everything I wanted would be possible, but I personally was a little skeptical about how much change there would actually be. The consultation did not feel especially long, but they explained each item I had written down one by one. If I had asked additional questions, I think they would have answered them too.
