Of course surgery is like that, but the doctor spoke about every situation in a very uncertain way, so it felt a bit off. For example, we had decided on an axillary incision, but if there is a rupture during the axillary approach (my breast implant ruptured), we might switch to an inframammary incision if it is severe. As for the capsule, he said he would only cut the parts with severe contamination (I had rupture on only one side, so I wondered whether cutting only one capsule would be enough...). In short, the idea was that he would open it up and decide. Realistically, that may be the most reasonable and accurate direction, but for someone like me who worries a lot and likes exact answers, it did not feel like a good fit (this is about compatibility with me, not that it is absolutely bad). Everyone was kind. The only thing I was disappointed about was that I paid 150,000 won for an ultrasound (the senior staff member who performed the ultrasound was very kind), but when I requested the records, they told me to come back a week later because it would take a week. Even local general hospitals give the ultrasound results on the same day, so I could not understand that system. If you are consulting here for revision surgery, please know that if you get an ultrasound done that day, you will have to get another one at another hospital later that same day too (double ultrasound cost).
