Patient review of Yellou (옐로우) · 2026-06-20

First of all, this is my first double-eyelid surgery and I’m currently on day 3 after surgery at Yellow. I wanted a glamorous semi-out eye shape. During the consultation, they showed me Jang Wonyoung’s eyes, but I asked them to make mine a little thinner than that and fit it to my own eyes haha My eyes originally had double folds, and because they often loosened, I thought about it for years before deciding on double-eyelid surgery, so I’m leaving a detailed and really honest review for anyone who finds it helpful!! - Price: I visited 3 Gangnam plastic surgery clinics in person, and this was the cheapest among them. On the consultation day, I paid a 100,000 won reservation deposit first, and the total came to 1.6 million won (double-eyelid natural adhesion + front and upper slit, done with incision). The consultant does seem to push the reservation deposit a little. (Ah, for reference, this price was discounted for leaving a photo review on Gangnam Unni and Babitalk.) - Clinic: Compared with Gangnam plastic surgery clinics, it did not feel like a newly built hospital. The waiting area was also small. The faces of the desk staff and consultants all looked very much like they had had a lot of plastic surgery, and they were not especially kind, but not rude either. (Personally, I was not expecting much kindness, so it did not matter.) But the consultant woman who handled my consultation was kind. - Waiting time: I went for the consultation in the morning, so the wait was short. On the surgery day, I arrived more than 30 minutes early, and the surgery also started early. - Surgery day: After fasting for 4 hours, I had surgery -> once I went into the operating room, I sat on the table and discussed the line, then decided on the line (about 5 minutes) -> after surgery, I went to the recovery room, lay down, rested, and then was discharged. (When deciding the line, they asked whether I wanted a glamorous look or a natural look, and they tried the line about 3 to 4 times, asking if this was okay. Since my original double folds were quite deep, they said it might not disappear completely, and I said okay and went straight into surgery - they had already told me this during the consultation, so it was fine.) - Reason I chose Yellow: The doctor at [Clinic A] first noticed and mentioned the part that was my complex. Among the clinics I visited, it felt the most honest. No pushing for extra procedures, and they told me clearly what could not be done. If something did not need to be done, they just told me not to do it. When setting the line, they matched it exactly to the feeling I wanted, which made me happy. They mentioned asymmetry and said they would balance it out. The doctor seemed confident and had a style of saying only what needed to be said. He said my eyes were not difficult to work on, and the clinic is famous for doing glamorous semi-out well, but after looking at the review photos, I also liked the aesthetic the most. I think there is no single right answer in plastic surgery -> there are many cases of both failed and successful reviews... In the end, the answer is finding the clinic that suits me, so I decided to go with the doctor’s experience + top-tier aesthetic sense + the place I was drawn to. - ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Surgery review: I’m satisfied for now. Since my left and right eyes were originally slightly uneven, they said they would correct the symmetry, and I still cannot tell because the swelling has not gone down yet, but the line itself seems to have been made evenly. Also, I did not want the front slit to be too dramatic, but my inner eye distance was wide, so I hoped that part would improve a bit, and they opened it to exactly the degree I wanted. Good haha (It seems they are not the type to make the slit too aggressive.) One eye has bruising, but at this stage it seems like the surgery was done cleanly and the recovery is going well. The double-eyelid line also turned out neat and pretty, with no awkwardness. Friends who have had double-eyelid surgery before also said the line was set well and that it turned out pretty. I’m looking forward to how it will look after the swelling goes down. / When the swelling goes down and it reaches 2 to 3 months, I’ll leave another review! haha
