I visited for my first nose consultation. I tried to make an appointment by phone, but they said I would have to wait a year, so I was shocked and believed them. I thought, so rhinoplasty is really that popular. Then, in less than a week, they called me back and said a cancellation slot had opened up and I could come in for a consultation right away. But when I actually went to the clinic, there were plenty of surgery dates open. I wondered if making me feel disappointed was part of the marketing strategy, but instead it made me feel like they weren't very professional, so that part was disappointing. The actual consultation at the clinic was professional, though, and that gave me confidence. They even make you wear clean-room coveralls for the CT. The doctor also didn't recommend an excessive surgery, and explained objectively what kind of nose shape would suit my face. He was skeptical about septal cartilage or functional-nose surgery, and said that for a first nose surgery, autologous costal cartilage would be too much, and that donated costal cartilage would suit my face size better. He also said that this is the kind of nose where you need silicone to make the shape look natural. But the shape the director was aiming for, a round cute nose, wasn't my taste, so I hesitated, and in the end the cost was too high... so I put it on hold T_T
