Eye Surgery review at Misorain (미소라인) · Incisional method + Epicanthoplasty · 2026-06-01

I waited about 10 minutes there, then went from a consultation with the director -> to a consultation with the manager. They seemed to draw the line almost immediately after I went in and said this is what it would look like after surgery, and they hesitated a bit about the inner corner incision before saying it would probably be better to do it. Just like in the reviews, the director felt cold, almost scary, and tired-looking, but they were very honest. They absolutely do not recommend unnecessary surgery. I was told that even if I had the surgery, my eyes wouldn't change much, and that the inner corner incision wouldn't make them look longer horizontally anyway, so I almost just gave up on double-eyelid surgery. Also, I knew they didn't do it, but when I asked about partial incision methods, they said why are you asking me that, and when I asked whether a back/lower corner canthoplasty might be needed too, they said they don't do surgeries like that and asked if I had come here without even knowing the hospital, acting like why did I even make an appointment. It really made me think, what is this? It wasn't some absurd question I couldn't ask, I came here because I didn't know and wanted a consultation..? And as a plastic surgery specialist, they wouldn't not know? They seemed so dumbfounded that I was a bit flustered. Still, rather than a doctor who talks big and says they can do everything, then ruins the result, it's probably much better to have someone here who only does what they can really do well. They operate very conservatively, so at least I don't think they'd be the type to ruin someone else's eyes. Anyway, there don't seem to be many first-time surgery patients like me, but in my opinion, if it's your first surgery, you might as well go somewhere else that listens well to your needs. The price is also almost like the price of nose surgery for a first operation, and they said the surgery schedule is full until the end of August, so you can almost only get it in September. The manager also just told me the price without pushing me to book. They said there isn't separate aftercare like swelling laser. It's very hard to get a reservation, but if you want to know exactly what surgery you need, it might be good to get a consultation.
