I had incisional double eyelid surgery with an in-out line, plus upper canthoplasty, lateral canthoplasty, and lower canthoplasty, and I absolutely love it. When I first started looking into plastic surgery, I thought maybe I’d only do double eyelids, but after reading reviews of canthoplasty, I started wanting that too. So my final goal was to make my eyes look softer and bigger, and at every consultation I said I wanted full canthoplasty, but at each place they said I should do all four procedures. Only here did they say three would be enough. I wondered if I should really follow the most recommended approach, but the director explained that if I added epicanthoplasty here, my eyes could look too close together; if I wanted bigger eyes, adjusting the outer canthus with lateral and lower canthoplasty would be enough, and upper canthoplasty would remove the upper Mongolian fold, shape the inner canthus, and make the eyes look longer vertically. So I trusted that and had the surgery, and it turned out to be the right choice. The eyelid skin is slightly shown so the in-out line is clearly visible, and the back part has a V shape. It’s opened just enough, so my eyes look about 1.5 times bigger. Here, they design the surgery while considering the full eye structure, and they said the lateral canthoplasty is fixed to the periosteum, so it won’t reattach. It’s been over a year, and it still doesn’t look like it will reattach. My eye shape is rounded and pretty, so I don’t regret spending several million at all.
