I went for a consultation! I asked how they would handle it if a side effect occurred, and the doctor's reaction was a bit... "If it is eye surgery, it almost never happens~ If that worries you, do not have the surgery." That was what they said. I was asking about what the hospital would do, though... The staff were kind~
