I had cheekbone and chin-tip surgery here 12 years ago. There were no side effects, and now that I am older, there is only a very slight sagging in the cheeks, but that is at a level that can be overcome with a procedure. The problem is that they used a scalp incision here, so the scar shows very badly. My skin is especially keloid-prone, so if you look at the incision from above, you can immediately tell I had surgery T_T
