Consultation with Dr. Kwak Do-hoon I asked whether buried sutures would be possible since it was my first surgery, and he said it was possible, but because the inner corner of my eyes has strong tension, incision would be better. For the front (upper) canthoplasty, he said buried sutures might be necessary, but he didn't particularly recommend it. For outer/lower canthoplasty, it's effective for people with protruding eyes, but in my case there would be little real benefit.
