I didn't feel that the doctor's consultation was super kind, but they carefully drew the line several times and didn't recommend unnecessary surgery. However, since it was my first surgery, they recommended buried stitches, but another hospital had told me that buried stitches could come undone, so when I asked the doctor about the possibility of them coming undone, the answer was vague. I also asked about epicanthoplasty, and while they shaped the eyes, they only said it was a matter of personal choice and taste. Since it felt like they were leaving it up to personal preference and choice, I couldn't tell whether they thought it was good or not, and as someone who has trouble deciding, I ended up worrying a lot. Still! I do think that if I have surgery here, they'll handle aftercare carefully and will respect my opinions well before and after surgery.
