To start with the conclusion: 3 months after incision revision surgery, I ended up with asymmetrical eyes. At the first consultation, the line they drew for me was very satisfying, and because they said only incisions were needed and that an in-out line would look pretty, I made the reservation right away. Before surgery, I drew the line by myself, but they did not show it to me. A week after surgery, when I went to remove the stitches, I found that one eye was overly bent. They immediately said they would fix it, so I had surgery again only a week later. But they said it looked like I had no fat in my eyes and that fat grafting might be possible, so they told me to prepare for that first. While I was still very confused, preparations went on step by step. After anesthesia, in the middle of all the confusion, they looked at the revised eyes with the nurses and suddenly said it would not work, so they started preparing for fat grafting. In fact, the patient was not prepared and had not properly consented, but they said it was simple and went ahead. The doctor left feeling satisfied with himself. I was incredibly flustered when I came to remove the stitches, but the director made a show of saying that fat grafting was expensive anyway and that this was just part of the aftercare. After that, for nearly a month my abdomen hurt badly from the fat harvesting, and the fat they put into my eyes came out right away. Even after 3 months, the scar from the fat harvesting on my abdomen is still there. At one month after surgery, I had two lines at the inner corner of my eye, so I went in then to ask about that too (I also could not meet the director when I came to remove the stitches because he was in surgery). The director just said I did not need to worry and that everything would be fine. I was under so much stress because of this, but when I met the director and asked why there were two lines and whether it was really an in-out line, and why the line at the inner corner was positioned higher up, he said he had made it slightly more out-line??; I had asked for an in-out line though... I was too stunned to say anything, and since he had another consultation after mine and seemed busy, he told me to come back after 6 months if there was a problem. He speaks kindly with a smile, but it felt like he was just hearing me out and answering casually. Three months later, it is an out-line with two lines at the inner corners of both eyes, and one eye has a different line height so I have asymmetrical eyes. I am preparing to go to Seoul for a re-revision consultation. I do not really know whether his skills are good, I just think he is stubborn. After the surgery, both the director and the staff treated me like nothing. Please keep that in mind.
