First, I thought I had pseudoptosis, so I didn't want eye-muscle correction surgery if possible. I had consulted at other hospitals, and some recommended it while others didn't, so my standard for choosing a hospital was one that would not recommend eye-muscle correction, which may be somewhat subjective. I first consulted with the manager, then with the director. The manager recommended partial incision with eye-muscle correction, and said the inner corner procedure could be done or not done, so I said I didn't want the inner corner procedure. When I told the director that I did not want eye-muscle correction surgery, we talked back and forth about that several times, and in the end he said it would probably be done anyway and that it would be better to have it done. He also said, like the manager had, that the inner corner procedure wasn't really necessary. It wasn't terrible, but it didn't match what I wanted, so I was disappointed.
