It had been quite a long time, but my aunt said she would give me front canthoplasty as a graduation gift, so I searched through Naver Cafe and other places for reviews and then went to the hospital of Director Kwon Bong-sik because it was famous for front canthoplasty. The doctor and staff were all kind. They said that while doing the front canthoplasty, they also needed to secure the double-eyelid line in front, so I had a tiny additional fix done in the front. (I already had a double-eyelid line, but because front canthoplasty can cause the line to collapse, they pinned the existing line once more.) At first I was very swollen and so scared, but gradually the swelling went down and it settled in well. The left side went down more slowly for me. And even more painful than the surgery was removing the stitches... removing the stitches hurt so much that I was really in tears. It has been several years now, and although it is a little more closed than right after the surgery, it is still much more open than before, and I remain satisfied. Still, I was also considering lower canthoplasty back then, and I do think I should have done it together. :)
