Patient review of Dibain (디바인) · 2021-10-12

I went for a canthoplasty consultation last year. It was mentioned a lot in the app, the review photos looked good, and everyone said the doctor was kind, so since I live in a provincial area I went thinking I would consult first and, if it seemed okay, even have surgery that same day. I made the appointment with a 2-hour gap from another clinic, but the first clinic ended a bit early, so I had an extra hour to kill and nowhere else to go, so I thought I might as well just go to the clinic and wait. I arrived an hour earlier than my appointment. At the desk I explained the situation and asked if I could wait there. They said I could wait, but I could not go in earlier and would still have to wait the full hour, which I said was fine. I was the only person waiting at the clinic. After sitting for a bit, I went back to the desk and asked, "If the consultation goes well, could I have surgery today as a same-day surgery?" They said yes. Then suddenly they called me in for the consultation. All of that happened within 5 minutes. They had said I had to wait the full hour, but once I said I wanted same-day surgery, they told me to come in right away, which was pretty absurd. Still, I wanted to save time and as long as the surgery went well, I did not think much of it then. But during the consultation, it was very mechanical, and they talked in a copy-paste way without looking at my eyes in detail. When I asked if they were asked to what extent it could be opened, they said, "Ah, as much as it can be opened~" Who would not know that? The doctor’s tone, eyes, and behavior were all extremely rude, and the consultation was wrapped up carelessly and quickly, so I thought they must have had some urgent business. I had clearly said I would consult first and, if it seemed okay, do surgery the same day, but right after the consultation ended, the staff spoke as if the surgery was already confirmed and tried to rush everything along, which was also ridiculous, so I just said I did not like the consultation and left. Even now, when I look at the app, everyone still recommends it and says they are kind, so I do not know whether they are all brokers or whether only the day I went was bad.
