I visited for revision surgery. It was several years ago, so I do not really remember whether the consultation staff were kind. The doctor was not the type to look at me with special effort; he just answered when I asked questions. At another clinic they said I did not need an inner epicanthoplasty, but here they said I would need one if I wanted to raise the line. They also said my eye-opening strength was weak and suggested another correction for the eyelid crease. In the end I had it done, but regarding the inner epicanthoplasty: it left a scar, and at first I could not close my eyes. So maybe because the lower eye was lifted and closing the eyes got fixed that way, I developed under-eye wrinkles. I also developed a Mongolian fold from the inner epicanthoplasty scar. I did not cut very much at the inner corner, so by chance the scar ended up right at the inner eye corner and it became like a Mongolian fold. My eyes originally had no Mongolian fold and were sharp-looking, but they became blunt and the flesh at the inner corners became more exposed. As for the double eyelids: they became sausage-like. When I open my eyes, from the side they look like a 3, and when I close my eyes the scar marks remain. When I touch the scar, it feels foreign, like there is something left inside, maybe like a thread still inside? And the sensation in the double eyelid area feels a bit strange. It does not feel like touching skin, but more like touching a blister.
