The difference before and after is not that dramatic. Maybe it is because this was cosmetic jaw surgery rather than due to malocclusion, but there is not a huge difference. Since it was cosmetic jaw surgery, I did not need orthodontics, but later they recommended braces for perfection, and my dental midline still does not line up.
