It’s been about 5 years, and I’m now looking into revision surgery. Even back then, the doctor seemed extremely confident, and since it wasn’t a factory-style clinic but a private one, I just went ahead with the surgery even though the price was almost twice as high as at other hospitals. The surgery ended way too quickly too (15 minutes), and because eyelid surgery is under local anesthesia, I was awake as well, and they had music playing in the operating room, which was distracting. Even back then it was uneven, and they said it was just swelling and whatnot, but now it’s uneven and so uncomfortable that I absolutely have to get revision surgery, which is stressful. I think if they had put in more care during the surgery, I wouldn’t have had to go through revision surgery.
