I had surgery 7 years ago, and at the end of the surgery I woke up from anesthesia and it hurt. Even though I kept shouting that it hurt, they kept saying it was almost over and that the anesthesia would hurt more, so I remember the surgery being carried out in agony. I had incisional surgery, and one side came undone, so one side had to be operated on twice.
