I had double eyelid surgery in 2009. The doctor is probably still the oldest veteran director at New Line now. From what I remember, he was fairly cool and reserved. He explained things briefly, but the important parts were all covered. My eyes were large and long horizontally, so he said a double eyelid line with an in-out style would suit me better, and I got it done. I was a successful case. I recommended him by word of mouth to my friends, and most of them got it done there too, but it seemed to vary by person. Anyway, I was satisfied without any major issues.
