I consulted because of a protruding mouth + receding chin. First, compared with other plastic surgery clinics, the director ([Doctor A]) seemed to know a lot about bones too, and I got the feeling that it was not just for 'aesthetic' purposes but that he would also be good with temporomandibular joint-related issues. It was the only plastic surgery clinic where I made a consultation appointment. (For everything else, I made appointments at university hospitals.) Because the surgery itself is a major operation, the consultation time was also rather long. They took photos and then consulted, and I remember it cost about 30,000 won. I consulted in the order of consultation manager - director - manager, and the more I listened, the more I felt that because this is really a major surgery, it would be even more of a mistake to do it at a place like this. At the university hospital, the surgery takes about 10 hours, but the director said it would be over in about 3 hours? ... They said they are a partner hospital with [Clinic A], but if something serious happens during surgery, would they send you to [Clinic A]? haha Anyway... If you don't have temporomandibular joint problems and your main goal is aesthetic improvement, this might be okay. But if you do have TMJ problems, it's not just this place's issue... I strongly recommend getting treatment at a university hospital. The doctor was kind and answered everything well. In the end, thanks to the consultation, I was able to start TMJ treatment.
