It was my first ever plastic surgery, so I was very nervous and all over the place. I got the consultation after seeing it on a YouTube channel. Maybe because of the YouTube algorithm, once I started watching one, it kept popping up. I thought about it for about 6 months before going for the consultation, and because the place was far from home, I took photos with my phone and sent them, then booked right away. They said the schedule was so full that I could only get an appointment if I put down a deposit right away, so I booked it for 2 months later with an advance payment. The surgery day was the first time I'd seen the doctor, and it felt like he was saying things on the spot and pushing me to do all sorts of extra things. The doctor is fairly lively in personality, but he didn't talk much about the overall design plan for the surgery I was going to have that day. I went because the hollowing under my eyes was severe, but it doesn't feel like it improved much. Originally I had planned only to do the under-eye area, but on the doctor's recommendation I also did the front cheek and under-eye smile area, and my face changed so much it doesn't feel like my own, and the improvement in the hollow under my eyes wasn't much either. The only comfort is that there were no special side effects... The first month was extremely hard... it stayed tight and swollen easily until 6 months.
