I had outer and lower canthoplasty done here and got no effect, only red flesh and conjunctival congestion.. I also got a small scar tissue lump at the back. I had narrow, small eyes, so maybe there wasn't enough room to widen, but they didn't strongly discourage it and recommended it, so I had it together with under-eye fat repositioning.. But the under-eye fat repositioning skill is amazing.
