It has already been almost 10 months since I had revision surgery with Director Hong Seong-pyo at BIO. First surgery: a thick outline done in the neighborhood 10 years ago Reason for revision: I was stressed because it looked obvious that I had recently had surgery, so I looked for revision surgery and had it done. I visited 10 places, and the reason I chose Director Hong was that he explained things in the most detailed way and seemed a bit confident? Also, the biggest reason was that I heard he takes care of aftercare well lol. I had seen many clinics mess things up and then not provide aftercare, so that part weighed heavily for me. The surgery I had was: two-line incision + slight front-line excision. Right after surgery, even my friends said it seemed to turn out well and that there was no swelling, but of course the immediate result is not what matters. I’ll leave a review now that it has been about 10 months. What I like 1. The line really became lower.. amazing... the thick line that stressed me out became lower 2. All my friends say it turned out well. They say I got prettier. They say I’m glad I had the surgery What I dislike 1. You can see the scar from the two-line incision when I close my eyes. (But I accept and factor this in. Since two-line incision inherently means there will be two lines when closed, that part is natural.) This is more dissatisfaction with the method itself than with the surgery. 2. The fixation is too strong,,,,, the double eyelid is low but somehow deep..? I think it’s because the fixation is so strong. I knew strong fixation was part of the two-line method, but this place seems pretty strong too 3. I had only local anesthesia... it hurts too much... Usually other clinics do sedation and then local anesthesia for the eyes, but here it was local anesthesia from the start lol... 4. I think I turned out okay in my own way, but looking at people around me who had it done, there are a lot of disappointments. I’d probably give it around 70 out of 100. Sometimes people ask me where I got it done because it turned out well.. but whether I’m satisfied or not, I don’t think I can really recommend it.
