This was my first nose surgery, and I went around shopping around for options. I wanted functional + cosmetic surgery together for a deviated septum (rhinitis), and I went for a consultation after getting a recommendation from a chat room. The head doctor was very kind and gave a professional consultation. The consultation fee was 30,000 won only once (including the CT scan fee), but it was the kind of visit that still felt worth 30,000 won. They carefully explained which materials would be used and how it would look good if done this way or that way. They also showed me a 3D or 4D virtual simulation of the possible result and explained the surgery method well. I had gone there after visiting another hospital, and it was already close to the staff’s quitting time, plus I was very late T_T, but they still spent more than 30 or 40 minutes with me. When you go into the consultation room, they show you the whole surgical process and materials on a computer, and they even let you handle the materials yourself. However, because it wasn’t covered by insurance, the price was quite steep, and that was the biggest downside. I’m planning to visit other hospitals as well, but this is on my surgery list.
