I went to consultations at six clinics, and this was the worst one of them all. I even had another CT scan, but the doctor's first words were that the septum could not be properly unfolded. Hearing that no clinic can properly unfold the septum or greatly change the length and width, he kept closing the chart, which made him look like he had absolutely no intention of performing surgery. During the consultation, which lasted about 10 minutes, he must have taken the chart away from me about 5 times. So I ended up restarting the consultation myself because I felt the waiting time was a waste. When I asked whether, unlike other clinics, they could at least correct a crooked septum to some extent, the answer was only that it could be opened in a very troublesome way, but it could never be perfect. He kept trying to close the chart again. That made me wonder whether this clinic could really create a flashy-looking nose on the outside and still achieve any improvement in function, so I left. The consultant was a bit older, and while he seemed somewhat professional, his very strong, high-handed attitude might come off to younger people as confidence, but to someone in their 30s like me it felt unpleasant.
