Due to damage to the muscle used to open my eyes from wearing contact lenses incorrectly a long time ago, I was recommended ptosis correction at an ophthalmology clinic, and after a diagnosis letter was written there, I had surgery with Dr. Park Seong-geun at Joseph Plastic Surgery (1.8 million won). The ptosis correction was successful and I was very satisfied, and after living a long time, I felt that the fat in my upper eyelids had decreased and my eyes that did not open well were starting to feel that way again, so my eyes were very tired and I came back for another visit (about 6 years later). Rather than a revision, they recommended fat grafting to the upper eyelids, so I had fat grafting done (600,000 won). Fat was extracted from my abdomen and injected with a syringe. Both eyes were treated together for balance, and the eye that used to not open well developed a lump from overinjection of fat, so when I close my eyes, it bulges out. When I open my eyes, it looks normal, so I am just living with it. I was very satisfied with the double eyelid surgery and ptosis correction, but I am dissatisfied with the upper eyelid fat grafting.. The hospital’s response was also poor (they said it was because I gained weight and that there was no problem).
