Nose Surgery review at Jangiksu (장익수) · 2021-06-03

I had tip rhinoplasty done without an open approach at another hospital, and my nose ended up looking worse than before, so I went to many consultations. The places where I wrote review posts were only a very small part; I think I went to 10 to 20 clinics. I was going around for revision consultations, and most doctors did not agree that my nose looked worse than my original nose; they just said it looked the same. Among them, there were only two doctors who had a good eye and pointed out the problems that had developed at the tip of my nose, and in that situation the bridge also needed a very slight correction. One person suggested laying the thinnest silicone on the bridge, and Director Jang Ik-soo recommended fat grafting to the bridge. Fat grafting to the bridge was unfamiliar to me, and I was worried the shape might not come out properly, so I agonized over it a lot. But while other places would place round ear cartilage on the tip, here they said they reconstruct it by carving it in a wing shape to match the original nose, so I ended up choosing this place. I heard that under lighting, the former case becomes noticeably shiny and round, making the nose look obvious. It also mattered that in the former case, if the ear cartilage showed through because the skin is thin, it stands out, whereas in the latter case it does not. In the end, even the fat grafting to the bridge that I was worried about turned out more natural than I expected, not overly spread out, and I am satisfied. No matter how thin the silicone was, if I had used it, with my thin skin I think I would have been dissatisfied either because it showed through or because the contour was too obvious and unnatural. Also, I like natural-looking noses, so I consulted mainly at places like that and looked at and analyzed a lot of before-and-after photos. But most places that said they were natural looked to me like they were only natural, not pretty.. In many cases I could hardly see a change, or the nose just got higher without becoming more beautiful. Here, my bulbous nose became naturally slimmer, and the pretty features my original nose had came back, so I am satisfied. If you are having revision surgery, I recommend going to at least a consultation and getting assessed. And this place is recommended for people who do not want a completely new nose, but instead want to improve only the current problems and change it into a naturally refined nose. I am finally free from stress, so I am grateful. I hope it stays well maintained from now on.
